With the current skills shortage in the motor industry and rising demand for qualified staff, it has become more important than ever before for companies to access the highest quality potential employees. A rushed, inattentive approach to recruitment simply won’t deliver the results you need. Established in 1987, we have been providing our recruitment services across the UK from our base in York for many years, and our experience and history continue to inform our approach to automotive recruitment.

Our founder John Gibson had extensive experience in the automotive industry, working with many renowned companies including the Fiat Group and Kawasaki Motorcycles, to name just two. Throughout the years, he identified a lack of specialist recruitment services for this dynamic, ever-evolving industry, which was resulting in many unsuccessful short-term appointments and problems for the businesses. His goal was to address this issue by creating a focused agency which concentrated exclusively on recruitment solutions for automotive businesses.

We take a highly detailed and attentive approach to the recruitment process, which has been the main factor contributing to our success over the years. We will always take the time to understand each business, their requirements and expectations. Rather than just looking at a candidate’s skills on paper, we carry out in-depth personality testing to determine their working style and help us to decide whether or not they would fit into the culture and environment of a company. Instead of simply rushing candidates into positions they may not be suited to, we secure long-term placements which are beneficial for both the employer and the employee.

Our unique approach means our agency has gone from strength to strength over the years, and we regularly work with many high profile motor industry names. We became franchised in 2000, and now have branches and regional offices throughout the UK and Ireland. No matter how the industry progresses in the future, we will continue to focus our attention on securing productive and rewarding roles for skilled and talented individuals throughout the country.
